The following are things that the staff looks for when judging roleplays. Unlike some feds, we don't have a point system. We just have points, bases if you will that we will look for when reading roleplays and some of the stuff is probably universal in the e fedding world so it should be no biggie.
Creativity: In other words, did your roleplay have some unique situations or scenes in it that set it apart from other roleplays that have been done, did you go out of your comfort zone and do something new? Did the roleplay read like something fresh and new?
Flow: Did the roleplay have a good pace and was every point made where it should have been? In other words, did anything seem to be in place in the roleplay with nothing seemingly coming out of nowhere or being randomly where it shouldn't have been?
Relevance: Did your roleplay show a good understanding and awareness of things going on in the fed around your character? Examples of this would be obvious hitting on your match that week, but also feuds you may be in, what happened at the last show, how you're character has been doing lately or possible storylines that you're in.
Realism: Did your roleplay read like an actual promo? Did your character seem rooted in reality? Big strikes against this would be doing ridiculous things like jumping off of buildings, flying, the character being in outer space or mundane things like that.
Holding Attention: Was the roleplay able to captivate the reader, draw them in and leave them wanting more? Was the reader able to follow along with the roleplay? Did nothing drag on? Just a word of advice in this category, if you, as the writer get bored writing it, the reader will likely feel the same.
Quality over Quantity: I can't stress this enough when I say that you don't need to write novels to win matches here in RoP. If your roleplay hits on many of our points and is generally good even if it's only a few paragraphs long, it could beat out somene's roleplay that's three or four pages long that don't follow our judging points at all.
That's all of the things we look for when judging roleplays. Like I said, many of them are universal and are likely done by you guys and girls anyway.
